Why Seyens
For science to change the world, it must first be understood.
Too often, brilliant research stays invisible, buried in complexity, lost in unclear figures, unreadable slides, and posters nobody wants to stand in front of.
Seyens exists to fix this.
Since 2013, we’ve delivered 400+ live training events for researchers at over 200 excellent research institutions and R&D teams in industry. Over 7000 scientists use our Seyens Method to publish stronger papers, win grants, secure competitive positions, and finally present their work with clarity and confidence.
Our mission is simple but ambitious: to make clear visual communication a universal skill for every scientist in the world.
We’re building a movement. One that helps research reach the people it was meant to help.
If you want to make clarity a catalyst for scientific progress, you’ll feel at home here.
Trusted by Researchers at 200+ Renowned Institutions

The Role (What You’ll Do)
You will deliver high-quality training that empowers scientists to communicate their research clearly, visually, and persuasively—using the structured, evidence-based Seyens Method.
As a Certified Seyens Trainer, you will help researchers transform confusing figures, colorful-but-chaotic slides, and wall-of-text posters into visuals people can instantly understand. You’ll guide focused cohort workshops, facilitate deep learning, and deliver fast, actionable critiques and micro-redesigns of real work.
This role is high-impact, student-centered, and designed for people who want to teach, not drown in bureaucracy. Our internal processes ensure you spend your time on preparation, delivery, and excellence. Not admin.
- Facilitate workshops: Lead up to 1-day training sessions (primarily online at first, with growing opportunities for in-person workshops).
- Coach live, fast: Give evidence-based critiques and micro-redesigns for figures, slides, and posters with scientific rigor and clarity.
- Prep & follow-through: Curate participant examples, deliver small redesigns, complete light admin.
- Contribute to excellence: Join monthly trainer roundtables; provide insights to refine curricula, checklists, and design libraries.
You’ll work with an A-player team: competent, low-ego, mission-driven scientists who value quality, integrity, and kindness.

What Success Looks Like
- Immediate: Participants leave your session with clearer visuals, new instincts, and concrete next steps.
- Longer-term: Organizers report stronger talks, accepted papers, successful grants, and positive peer feedback.
- Delivery quality: Your preparation is timely and thorough; your facilitation is calm, inclusive, precise, and aligned with the Seyens Method.
- Deeply rewarding: You spend time with brilliant scientists, help them solve real communication challenges, and see their confidence grow. If you enjoy science, teaching, and clarity, this is one of the most enriching and genuinely fun jobs you can have.
This Role is For You if You…
